According to Schneider, protecting the earth’s natural livelihood has been an essential part of Schneider’s business philosophy. It has determined their daily business and manufacturing actions for more than 10 years.

The planet’s natural resources are finite and deserve to be used sensibly and treated with respect. For this reason it is very important to SCHNEIDER, that as a company we focus on energy efficiency, best possible reduction of carbon emissions and avoidance of excessive waste in our production facilities.

a responsible trademark. Since 1998 SCHNEIDER has been certified with the world’s most superior regulation, the EU ecological audit, EMAS.

EMAS II Certification

Schneider’s production facilities have been awarded with a certified environment management system according to the EU ecological audit regulation (EMAS II).

This public and highly respected certificate is based on European Union statutory regulation. Its regulation is much stricter than the private sector standardisation DIN ISO 14001.

EMAS has an obligation to permanently strive towards new ecological goals. Where authorised, experts control the monitoring and fulfilment of these goals. EMAS also regulates the publication of company activities, which are relevant to the protection of the environment, in the form of an environmental declaration.
